You sound like you have come to a reasonable and informed decsion about a future for you and your daughter.

You need to do whats best for you and your daughter, and not some guy who is not treating you well at all. You shouldn't feel ashamed of what your doing, and you are entitled to have friends offer their support and love rather than judgement.

ETA, got a little trigger happy: OP, do what you feel is right. If you honestly doubt you and your SO's ability to raise this potential child properly be it emotionally or financially, then I think you're making the best decision.

When my good friend had her abortion, her grandma and grandpa (They raised her) were a little upset at first, but when they stepped back and realized who the potential father would have been, they agreed with her decision.
Plus, I always had her back and I'd do it all over again if the situation ever arose where she needed another one.

My 3 year old has the same kind of dad, i wish i could have picked a better dad, but accidents happen, not that Noah is an accident, i love him with all my heart. his dad just likes taking me to court to make me look bad bc he erks me in such a way all we do is argue, we have not been together for over 2 years now, we fought for a year over custody and now we ended up with joint, not my choice, i fought for full but the judge insisted that he is not a bad father because he doesn't beat Noah, i think that you should do what you feel is right, i have a lot of stress to deal with for the next 15 years, and i hate that, but i love my son, im pregnant now with another boy and this time around the dad is actually a good guy, so you never know what could happen when you least expect it.
