Need help with a first name, know the middle name...

Hi all!

My mom passed away almost 2 years ago, and if we have a girl, I would like to use her name as the middle name in her honor. Only problem is this: Lou-Ann

That's how she spelled it (she didn't have a middle name) and I would like to use it exactly as shedid. I don't want to shorten it, take away the hyphen, or anything.

We can't think of too many names to go along with it that don't sound really "hick". Sorry...I am not trying to offend anyone. You know..."you might be a redneck if...jokes?"

Here are a few names we like, but none of them are really jumping out as ones we really love:
Ava Lou-Ann
Sarah Lou-Ann (or Cerah)

Oh...and our last name is McNamara (pronounced MAC-na-mara)

I like Sarah but only because thats my name   I think Krystal would sound good with Lou-Ann

i personally love the name ava. doesnt flow perfectly with Lou-Ann... but i think it works well & the sentimental value is there  

We are naming this baby Sera-Makenzie Novalee capps*

DH wrestles with both boys (13 and 3) all of the time...this house is like a circus!

Besides...I am thinking of WAY down the road. I would love to share the pregnancy and birth experience of MY daughter...<snif, snif>

I keep praying that God will help me to be excited, even if it's a boy...cuz HE knows how this little one will be fitting into our family. I just have to continue to trust that He knows best! (but still hoping that our plans include a little girl!!   )

My boyfriend had twin 13 year old brothers and an older brother, All they doo is wrestle and rough house... YOU DESERVE YOUR LITTLE GIRL hopefully god has it in your plans  

My hubby has three brothers (all 4 are military) and to this day they wrestle in the livingroom/kitchen/hallway/ontheground....there is always a huge pile of Bodani men rolling around on the ground. They range in age from 29 to 21 and they still act like little boys! They also have a tradition that any time one gets promoted/award/birthday/whatever that they "stack" one another...stacking means literally piling one on top of another on top of the poor victim and pummel him until he aches. Now my hubby is passing on his way of being to my three nephews...haha.

Man, I'm glad I'm not one of those brothers, but I want a house full of troublesome little boys (dont tell my hubby, he'll never let me have a girl!). They make things interesting.

Oh, and I like Ava...I also know a Jamie Lou and Gracie Lou, so you can play around with those!

I think Ava would work well with your combination or Mia short sweet names like those flow well!
