my little monkey

After being in the hospital on bed rest due to pre e and extreme headaches for almost 4 weeks, the smurf hit the fan March 8 and my little monkey Josephine Ruth aka Jojo, was born via terrible c-section, at 34 weeks 5 days gestation weighing in at 5 lbs 12 oz and 19 in long. She's a big'un but she's so tiny also. Breast pumping is going slow but I'm trying. When/if I get the chance, pics will be posted. Eventually I'll calm my nerves and sleep too lol.

Aww congratulations! Keep up the pumping and put baby to breast as soon as you can.

Congrats! My Daughter was born at 34 weeks and six days at 4 lbs 2.3 ozs. Nice weight on your little one sorry it was so traumatic. Noelles entrance into this world was similar. I started pumping to all I have to say is keep at it.   Noelle was so little and had a weak suck so after she was allowed to nurse I had to put her on then give her a bottle then pump... repeat ever three hours, after 3 months she could nurse 100% it is so rewarding now she is going to be nine months old on the 22nd was born June 22nd. If you need someone to talk to I am here. Good luck and congrats again, heal up it took me a while but you will get there! (my BP's were like in the 200s/100s after I delivered my body was almost failing.

Pre E sucks doesnt it!! i just had my LO at 30 w 5 days feb 25.... Thank God he is healthy!! i had an emergancy C as well :-( how are you feeling? mine is still sore but not as bad as it was! i know the pumping sucks but just keep with it.. it does get a little easier! my Lo weighs 3pds 5.9oz after being born at 2.15.... If you need to talk im here im going through the same thing and it sucks!! congrats though!

Ike, I love you. You are an awesome mom and an awesome person! JoJo will be able to go home soon!! I am sure of it! I cry every time I see her pics, I am so happy for you! You tried so hard for her and got her. Remember I had 2 c-sections, they are not fun, but you will be A-ok lol

Congrats....sorry to here about the bed rest and headaches but good to hear you are doing well with joJo now.My little one is still baking but im hoping she come out soon. Im getting restless and times I get contractions or the braxton hicks. But hope your doing good. cant wait to see pics.
