Hi friends my LO just turned 1! We are very happy. As of now he is on the boobs and he eats snacks. Things like graham crackers, freeze dried yogurt things, gerber puffs.

We also try to give LO some of what ever we eat, but he is just not able to eat most of it. SOOOO I am really ready to start giving him real food, more than just snacks.

What are your babies fave recipes that the whole family can eat?

Home made organic chicken noodle soup

Cut up and boil potatoes carrot onions and celery in chicken broth and water.

Tenderize boneless chicken thighs by beating chicken in a ziplock bag with a hammer ( meat tenderizer)
cover in all season and lemon juice and bake

When veggies are almost soft add noodles and spices ( onion and garlic and cumin powder and a bit of Caldo de tomate
Salt and pepper

Wait till noodles are soft voila

I make organic chicken with red pasta and green beans and home made mashed potatoes

Wild caught salmon with lemon pepper spice cooked in coconut oil over quinoa and steamed veg and mashed potatoes on side

Chicken and peas over quinoa

Chop up sweet potatoes green apples carrots and onions ...cover in a lil pressed garlic and a good amount of olive oil and mix together in a bowl....bake in oven for like 30 mins on 375...I also use coconut oil in place of olive sometimes

Thank you we eat a lot of fish and baby just hates it. He won’t even taste it. it is the only thing LO turns his nose up at. I think its kind of cute. he will eat anything of my plate, even the napkin but not any fish

haha Everyone seems to pipe in with my Daughter, shes is about to turn 4 months old and I just started giving her a few tiny spoons of rice once a day. But since the begining everyone keeps saying, oh you need to start giving her solids, you can't keep up with just breast feeding. I'm like stfu, she's fine and they are like but you keep feeding her like 10 times a day. I'm like is it freaking bothering you, are you the one nursing her NO so shut up. I do get kinda of rude about it because I feel like when they say I can't keep up that they are saying I'm not capable of the basic task of feeding my daughter like I'm going to fail at it. when really what I'm looking for is a Godd for you on choosing to breast feed.

My son is 7 months and I haven't given him any solids. They would really lecture me.

But its best to wait at least 6 months anyway.

We started my son on solids.   He loves his fruits & veggies.
We only do a half of a jar each meal just to check for an allergic reaction. So far none YAY.
His first bit of food was rice cereal than he went to peaches.   We are about equal on the amount of fruit & veggies he likes now.
