yeah, stop following the group. lol I probably shouldn't admit it, but I hate reading labels. i don't really want to know what's in my food.   If I already know that I like it, I don't want to read what's in it. DH is a food label junkie and tries to get me to stop eating pringles and gummy bears. lol

but luckily we eat a lot of fresh veggies and fruits still too, so that's good.

AWESOME SPAGHETTI SAUCE

500g (or 1 and 1/4 cup): tomato sauce
1 onion, chopped and diced
1 soup cube, crushed
1 Tbs sugar
1 tsp starch
1 tsp water
3 Tbs olive oil

Chop onion
Heat olive oil in pan
Put one onion piece in pan until it bubbles
Add the rest of the onions, stir
When onions begin to turn golden (2-5 min), add tomato sauce, stir
Add one crushed soup cube, stir
Add sugar, stir
Separately mix starch & water
Stir starch mixture, then quickly add to pot & stir
Keep stirring, mixture in pot should start to thicken within 5 minutes
If not, add heat.

makes 6-8 servings

We did   nobody snuck her candy!

Leo will be 6m old on Nov 7th. He WANTS to eat EVERYTHING. haha but I'm still trying to hold off to 12m as long as I can. he will literally grab food off your plate and put it in his mouth though, so I don't think we'll make it that long. lol

Awww! I know you really want to wait...but that sounds so cute haha. Was your oldest not that interested in solids until closer to the 12 m?

my oldest was (and is) totally a boobie boy. lol
He didn't show much interest at all. I didn't really PUSH solids until he was closer to 18m because I was pg and my milk supply was down. Even now at 2.5yr old, he prefers the boob over food. Sometimes he'll eat a lot and other times just nibbles. I'm so glad he still gets all the good nutrients from breastmilk!

Aw .....yeah that's another reason I'm so glad I am able to BF...even if you have a picky eater they are still well fed  

DD is formula fed and is going to be 10 months old tomorrow. I want to ease her into having milk instead of formula, when should I start? Also do I have to give her whole milk or are there other options?

In my opinion you are supposed to get rid of the bottle at 12mo not the formula. I would maybe.start giving her a sippy cup. One of the ways my friend got her kids off formula was slowly diluting it milk. I don't do milk though so idk
