Formula should be his main source of nutrition for the first year.
Any food consumed in the first year is just for fun.

Going on 9 months and what little interest he had in solids seems to be gone after being sick... at least he's protected more with EBF! ;)

I just got back from my honeymoon. Maui is really nice! I got a nice tan , and so did my husband.

Little one did fine, she still takes the breast too so I'm happy about that. She ate a lot of food and had no reactions. Just so happy about that.

My family keeps trying to feed my son smurf like cake and frosting, I keep saying hes not ready for that and really shows no interest in it, they keep saying it wont hurt him blah blah.

If you feed my kid cake you will lose your holding my son privileges. Ill just have to watch him closely at my grandparents 70th anniversary party in two weeks.

Did anyone else EBF through 9 months and lose a smurf ton of weight? I am now 5 lbs under my pre pregnancy weight....and I can't keep a damn pant size....and I crave sugar all the time...he's sucking the life out me!

Just wanted to post that LO is going to be eleven months old tomorrow and we are still delaying solids. I have started giving him a few small bites during the day During lunch or dinner. He even shared a few bites with his SN's brother's jar food about a week ago. But nothing real regular or meals yet. I'm thinking soon.... But I'm so happy we've made it this far with nursing.
