You CAN test with an early result test (preferrably pink dye) about 9-10 days after you think you ovulated, BUT it's best to test the day your period is due.

My period is due the 10th of March and I ovulated from Feb 24th-28th had sex the 27th.

I ovulated between October 4-8, took a pregnancy test October 25.

I got a BFP on the dollar store cheapies between 9/10 dpo. It was around midnight when I took it so idk which is was lol and of course it wasnt FMU

Its still too early for a hpt, and a doc prob wont see if if u havent missed your period for a hcg blood test

So your not sure what day you ovulated?
its still pretty early if you period isnt due till the 10th I would wait until that day to test for a more accurate result.

If you purchase a pack of First Response Early result tests, you COULD test as early as tomorrow. Do you know much about early testing? You shouldn't drink much before you go to bed tonight, and then make sure you pee RIGHT before bed and hold it all night (or as long as you possibly can). Take the test with the first morning urine. So when you get up to pee in the morning, bring a clean dry cup, urinate into the cup and dip the test into the pee for about 5 seconds. Remove the test making sure to keep the tip pointed downward, replace the cap then lay flat. Read after 3 minutes. If you ARE pregnant, the line will be VERY faint, so look closely and possibly take pics if you'd like. You can post the pics on here (title it "linespotters") and people can come look and see if they see a line.

Keep testing every morning with first morning urine. If you're pregnant, you'll start to see a faint line that will get darker and darker.

If you don't want to go through all this, wait until your period is due and test any time of day LOL

Well the egg hangs around for three days, so I'm thinking she means she O'd on the 24th and egg was "in there" until the 28th... I think. LOL

Nope according to the first response ovulation calculator it says i'm due to be most fertile feb 24th-28th and that's all it says... How do I find out when I ovulated?

I was under the impression that it meant I was ovulating for those days?   Sorry I just don't know anything about this stuff!

You can't find out. You wouldn't know unless you took ovulation predictor tests which would've told you when you had an LH surge which would indicate that you should ovulate in 24-36 hours. If you didn't use an ovulation test, then it's just an estimate of when you might ovulate.

You only ovulate on one day. Your ovary releases an egg, but it has to travel down the fallopian tube and into your uterus where it awaits fertilization. It can be fertilized at any point after it is released, but it takes time for it to travel down into the uterus. The eggs is capable of being fertilized for approx three days before it begins to deteriorate, so those calculators say you are "fertile" for a three day time frame.

When I ovulated it was around my DH birthday which is in August (beginning) and test the 29th of August after 9 days without a period.

I dont think thats right, everything I read about ovulation says you only have about a 12 hour window once you ovulate example:
You can be fertile from the 24th to the 28th and ovulate on the 28th but if you have sex on the 29th your not going to get pregnant. you are most fertile on the days leading up to ovulation but after ovulation occurs you are no longer fertile.
