I've heard of people getting insurance to pay but I wasn't able to. Most insurance places don't cover cosmetic procedures

When did your swelling go down? Or didn't you have much?

I am 12 days post op and I am up 7 lbs and 4 inches bigger in the waist, and 2 in the hip!

None of my jeans fit and have to go back to work on THurs

I hated the swelling   The swelling can last for months   mine lasted at least a good 3 months or so and I still get it a little bit every now and then but not too bad that my clothes don't fit or anything.

yeah its crazy! I know some peoples swelling doesn't last as long it varies from person to person I felt like mine would never go away. Maybe your wont last as long. I wore shape slimmers for a little while after my surgery while I was out and about and at work

Sorry I didn't read the entire tread, but what was the pain like? I had a c-section so I think I could handle it...I think lol. I'm also worried about the scar, but yours looks perfect!

I really didn't have any pain. I got some discomfort from the swelling but if I didn't have the scar I wouldn't have been able to tell I got cut at all. I was worried about the scar as well but I basically had to ask myself do I want to have all the extra skin or have a scar that I can hide.
