Walking.....

They say walking is a methon used often to help start labor. How does this help. I know its good excersice and all but what does it do to help things along?

It suppose to encourage active labor., as you are using you pelvic muscles

it all has to do with the gravity of bringing the baby lower... i'm due a day after you how are you progressing ? i'm going to go walk today see if this lil 1 wants to come and mark her prencense in this world ..

I never found walking to help.. the only thing i found it help was making labor easier.... try castor oil, i used that !! if you can get past the nasty taste and all the diarrhea..lol i went into labor that night... other than that let it take its course

I walked a ton and it didn't do anything at all!

I wouldn't do the castor oil thing...too risky.

DO NOT USE CATOR OIL! There is a sticky on that. I can seriously harm you baby, and you will be in serious distress.

funny, my doc told me to try it... it worked for me and my kids come out normal

Your doctor is an idiot then, as no licensed medical profesional should ever recommend that. That is malpractice, and I would find another doctor.
