The real deal?

posted 3rd Mar '12
All this week off and on I've had period like cramps and a rock hard belly.
I had a appt yesterday where they did the fetal stress test, during it they said I had a contraction.
My SO and I had sex last night(I know it's not technically or a proven way to get anything going, and we weren't having sex with any intention to get things started). A couple hours later I started getting the cramps worse and my stomach was still hard during it.

So my question is, what do I do and any ideas on if it's actual contractions starting?

I feel like I've been posting a lot lately, but it's just because I'm in the last few weeks and getting nervous I think.

if you are in pain that you cannot speak through it is the real thing. time them wait until they are 3-5 minutes apart and then go in.

Are they timeable? I had period like cramping for about 3 weeks before going into actual labor.

I'm not asking to go in or not, I know when to do that. I was just wondering if it was possibly actual contractions.

They started when I was sleeping and would wake me up during. I slept in between the cramps. So I didn't really time them. I'll try today and see how it is.

Well they're sweeping my membranes in a week anyway. So I figure if it's starting out slow now, on it's own(semi/possibly), it's no big deal and I'll just let it happen.

So I've been timing them, and they're about 17minutes apart.
I know that's definitely not time time to go in. Lol.
