No, I get him a turtle by Vtech I believe. It is similar to the zebra except that it does not interact with the TV. but it was only $30, and it's on sale for $27 right now darn it oh well

Kirt is supposed to be getting Ryder's big gift and I get all the little gifts but he's yet to do it. I keep reminding him his birthday is about a month away and I know he won't go into a store and get it so it's best to order it soon. I'm sure I'll end up getting it myself. So far I've gotten him the Gymboree bubbles which are awesome because they are strong and last a long time and then a Xylophone. I don't want to go too overboard with gifts because I am sure he'll get plenty with the birthday and Christmas so I'll probably just pick up a couple smaller items and be done with it.

Jessica, I read the one that interacts with the TV had horrible reviews. It's really loud when the child bounces and the graphics on the TV (unless you have a very small TV) are equivalent to something from the 80s. Kirt wanted to get that one originally until I pointed out the reviews. The one you got had good reviews though

My DH told me not to buy anymore toys because he doesn't really play with them and would be just as happy with a box and the remote. I'm only getting a couple of toys. I already got a couple of cardboard books that he liked and want to get more of those and maybe a dvd or two.

This is the tea pot we already gave her bc she was outgrowing her other toys...

We also have this pop up toy thing but I can't find it anywhere and this neat little bubble maker with some sort of animal where the bubbles come out of his mouth...I can't remember what animal. Oh and four new books....I love books.
I want to get her some clothes and a couple big toys. Oh and she would also love a xylophone so we may get that for her too...

I had balls for a ball pit, but she liked it for 3 seconds then made a mess, and I had to pick up all those darn balls after! lol. So I sold it. lol

ALrighty, I'm back. I returned some dvd's at the library, then was going to take Isabella to a mom and tot playgroup, but she fell asleep so we went to walmart instead. haha, i bought her a little shopping cart for $10. after, we went to the playgroup but i only stayed awhile bc the kids there are nuts! it's not the little kids, it's the kids 2-3 years old that were loud and bullies. she almost got run over by a kid riding those ride on cars with another kid pushing it really fast. the parents weren't really watching either. grrrr!
