re: ♥ 2008 Dec. Desperate Housewives Club ♥

So DH and I have agreed to get a house cleaner. It's just impossible to keep this house CLEAN and I'm not the neatest person on the block either. I am not a pigsty, but I never put things back 'right away'. I'm one of those people that will tidy up at the END of the night. I have friends who have house cleaners (they are teachers) and thought that was so weird. Well the first one is rich so I thought it was a snob kinda thing hahaha, the second is a bachelor so, go figure.. lol, and the third is a young teacher like me, and she only got one after having her first kid bc her husband would get mad that the house was never clean when he got home from work and they always fought about it so since they have seperate paychecks, she got HERSELF a maid. lol. - and she tells me it's soo worth it. So now we are considering getting now, since DH jsut finished cleaning PART of the house bc his relatives are visiting from Calgary. He's going to finish the rest tomorrow.

I miss the days of weekly cleaning before Isabella was here. I always knwe I had a clean tub every week and could confidently take a bath knowing i had a clean tub. Now my tub gets cleaned every 2-3 weeks. I haven't had a bath in a looooooooong time! (ha ha, ok that sounds like I've never had a bath, but I DO SHOWER every day - or don't go more than 2 days without showering). lol

So I got puked on...not the spit up puke but puke puke...like the kind where you can smell the stomach acid puke...it was gross...my poor baby...but Liam is happier thatn on vacation.

Of and I crush up a pill of the probiotic and put it in Liam's cereal...pedi told me to do it to regulate his belly when he had loose stools all the time (after starting solids). It has helped....and YES Angela Apple Juice does make diareahea worse....when we have diahrea I always remember the BRAT diet...Bananas Rice Applesauce Toast....

Happy Fourth...oh and that said I love the fourth of july but HATE random fireworks, I'm a firm beliver we should leave it to the professionals. I'm glad they ar eillegal inside the city limits here

Well the fire works weren't near as bad as it has been in the past. I don't think that's why Levi was waking up. It seems anytime there are different people holding him (not me or dh) during the day that he wakes up a lot. I think maybe because he keeps making sure I'm there. Idk, that's just a guess. I ended up putting him in the bed with us and of course me and dh didn't sleep well. But Levi woke up with no poopy diaper. And he had a 6oz bottle when he got up and then I bounced him a little too much and he spit up about an oz and then he drank 4 more oz. Yay, he's ate good this moring and no runny poop. Maybe this is a sign that he is getting better.

My MIL is gonna come over today and help us pack and watch Levi. So hopefully we get pretty much the whole rest of the house packed today.

Courtney, your avi is cute! I didn't get a chance to take a pic of Levi in his 4th outfit (because he pooped in it) but my mom did and she hasn't sent me the pic yet so...

I was so surprised gavin didnt wake up last night b/c all the neighbors were shooting off loud ones to. I think he was wore out. we went to gregs grandparents cabin all day. plus he sleeps with a sound machine so I'm sure that helped alot.

I just can't get the mash bags clean after I use them. It's like they're stained (and I hate that). I've used bananas and apples in them so far.

So my MIL wins this round. I woke up this morning with a raging migraine and no migraine medication (because I forgot my prescription is up and I need to make an appointment). Kirt comes downstairs and says, "I know it's early but my parents coming over...they're down the street." Really? Ugh, thanks for the notice. My house is trashed from last night, my migraine is going to be a battle today, and NOW I have to put up with four hours of his parents. He swears they're only stopping by for a little bit but he's so delusional. I won't even get into the fight this causes between Kirt and I. So I'm getting ready to feed Ryder and I'm taking a long hot bath. I may as well try to get some enjoyment out of my day

My DH would never let me hire one. He doesnt see a point in "wasting" (his words) his $ on one. surprise! surprise! He's a man and yes, he cleans around the house, but doesnt do as much as me.   In fact i've asked him b/c a teacher at school uses her MIL and I wanted to try her. lol. Now that I'm off for the summer I definetly wouldnt want one, but it would be nice to have like a part time one during the year or something! I'm a pretty clean/neat person though. In fact, sometimes to clean to where it bugs me!   Enjoy it!! (and send her my way to!) hehe

Jen, I think your not suppsed tp reuse the mesh bags. That's why they sell replacement bags. Least that's what I thought.

DH would never let me have a maid... he'd be happy living in a pigsty. His mother isn't very clean... so he was raised in a mess. I feel bad for saying that, but it's true. When we got married, and he saw me cleaning he said "Is someone coming over?" lol.. he thought you only cleaned when people come over. Then another time he said to me "why are you so CLEAN?!" like it was a bad thing.

I have a different mesh bag thing... You don't throw away the bag thingys.

your friend who's husband who demanded the clean house - HE should be the one paying for the house cleaner since he demands the clean house!!!! If my DH ever complained about the house, he would...get an earful. It's not like I sit on my butt doing nothing all day. Fortunately (?) he goes by the philosophy if you see it and think it's dirty, it's your responsibility to clean it up. It's not always fool proof since his idea of "dirty" doesn't match mine.

  Sorry to hear that. If you would ever kill your inlaws, I'll come testify at your trial that you HAD to do it!  

Ugh, Levi put up a huge fit going to sleep. My mom tld my sister that she has never seen a child fight sleep as much as he does. He normaly goes down about 2 hours after he wakes up in the moring but today it was 4 1/2 hours later. I pray that he sleeps longer then 30min.

My MIL is on the way over to help us pack. I hope we get it all packed today and just have little stuff to finish tomorrow.

Liam had yet another rough night...not that he has ever slept through the night but he would eat and go right back to sleep but now he doesn't...and he is biting me EVERY feeding...it is at the end so when I put it away he could careless...I have no idea what to do

Haley have fun packing...I hate packing but just think of the better house you are moving too!!!
