Happy 4th Maggie! I got Levi a first 4th outfit. I'll take a pic later with my phone and put it on fb. I am not looking forward to the fireworks tonight. Almost everyone on my street sets them off. Last night it sounded like they were in my backyard setting off fireworks.

I think we'll be alright. We are going to the park. I think he'll love them. I got Hunter an outfit, too. It looks like a baseball outfit.

I just don't want the fireworks to wake him up. He's already not sleeping well. When he poops he wakes up because its all over him and his bed. I've been changing his pj's 2 or 3 times a night. And his sheets.

I'm having a gloating moment. I KNEW Kirt's mother assumed we were coming over today despite never calling and asking us. Last week, I made plans for my parents to come over (and my friends, which that fell through). I just kept waiting for the phone call from his mother. Well, it came about 30 minutes ago...wanting to know WHEN we were coming over. She never even asked IF we were coming over. Kirt told her that my parents were coming over. I was worried because he had mentioend inviting them (which I told him I didn't want to do since they have a tendency to take over and my parents wouldn't get to spend much time with Ryder). We agreed that if she called in advance, we would invite them to join us but we were not going to go out of our way to invite them. Well, he didn't cave, which is good because I don't have enough food for all them and I would not be happy going to the grocery store. After that, she tells Kirt that if our plans "fall through" we can come over there because she got enough food for us since she thought we were coming over. Um, even if everything fell apart, I would NOT go over there just on principal. She needs to learn that not every holiday is automatically designated to be spent with her and that she should ask first.

Probably not. I'm sure she's annoyed though. The good thing is that I think we're good on holidays until Halloween

awww nice. i coudn't find isabella's size for a canada outfit so she never got one. Oh wells.

Good morning ladies,

Isabella had a fever last night, her first fever. It was kinda scary for me. We gave her motrin, and then this morning she also had a fever again. but now she's ok. I hate those shots! So today for the first time I gave her graduate puffs and cut them in half to be sure. I tested them out also,t hey just melt in your mouth.   I also pulled out the meshy thingy and put grapes in them and see if she liked grapes.She's sucking away at it so I'm assuming she likes them. Good! I want her to eat her fruits and veggies, I know I didn't as a child. Are there any fruits (other than citrus) and strawberries she should'nt have?

Yay Jen, a holiday without your inlaws!

Poor Isabella. I haven tried yet giving Levi grapes.

Maggie, nothing is helping with the diareah (sp?) I'm only feeding him formula, bananas, apples and pedityte. But I can't get him to drink much of the pedilite. If he is still like this on monday I'm gonna call his dr again and see if its still fine that he's pooping that much. Its not as runny anymore but its still a little runny.

Well we're fixing to head out the door when Levi wakes up and go to my moms and take everyone to see our new house and go have lunch. I'm starving. Me and Irv hasn't eaten today yet.

Yay for not having to spend it with her...does she forget you have parents too!!! Will she expect you to spend a day over labor day with her??

So we did the 4th thing yesterday at Holloman AFB...fireworks hamburgers hot dogs...although I forgot to put Liam's first 4th of July bib on him so I'll do it today and take a picture. He had funa the fireworks....the Air Force planned well...we got to out car and it started pouring....we could see the lightning coming towards us during the fireworks...yikes!!!

What are u all having for dinner tonight? I miss sharing recipes. I'm defrosting ribs tonight to make sweet and sour ribs. Anyone have a good recipe for ribs? Maybe a BBQ recipe?

That looks good...well since we did 4th celebrations yesterday I was planning a roast BUT DH's friend who we went with yesterday are cooking out...probably hamburgers hotdogs and that kind of stuff...
