OT - Vent:(

I've decided to try cloth diapers. My mom told me since Hunter sweats a lot, and gets diaper rash a lot.. Cloth will feel better on his bum. So I ordered some pre-folds. Beth told me to boil them then wash in hot water. Well, everyone is out front. I walk out there, and Faye is like "it's vanessa's story, ask her" (so obviously she was talking about me). So I was like what? then Roger's sisters were like "What were you boiling?" I said a diaper, they were like "Why?" I was like because I want to try cloth. "Do you know how much work that is, You have to clean the shit out of the diapers, One diaper isn't going to cut it, why not just change to pull ups?" **they began laughing** I was just like.. whatever, and walked away. I am just so sick and tired of freaking being harassed. My mom calls it "emotional abuse". I shouldn't have to explain shit to you all. You aren't Hunter's parent, you don't need to worry about what I do with him. It's not like I'm asking you to clean the shit off his diapers.

These are in my in-laws and SIL's.. and I live with them. I swear, I am losing my mind. It's ruining my marriage as well. My MIL is always on my case, my FIL says these "jokes" which I don't find funny, and my SIL's are just bitches. One has a child, and if I am not doing what she did... "it's not right"

When I was pregnant and thinking about cloth diapers, I told my boyfriend about them, and his sister was in the room, and she was all "I'm not cleaning sh*tty diapers!" I was just "nobody asked you, mind your own business!" I ended up just doing disposables. She doesn't change those either. : P

How would pull ups make any difference anyways?

Its not that big of a deal. you can buy flushable liners. I want to try the Walmart ones cause I hate folding and I am buying two rolls of flushable liners for them. The ones from walmart dont even need a cover for them so I think its awesome. My youngest has really bad eczema which my husband pasted off as diaper rash and couldnt figure out why it was getting worse   so she really needs out of disposable diapers.I put eczema cream on it and it clears up "mostly" but it wont go completely away until I get the cloth ones.

Ooh, I have to live with mine too. Can't stand it. Especially since his sister doesn't have a kid, and is stilltrying to put her two cents in.

He won't be in cloth full time. I will be the only one doing cloth with him.

They need to stay out of it, and let you raise YOUR child, how you see fit! What does hubby think about his family's input? Just curious if he is supportive of your decisons with Hunter, or lets his family bully him onto their side!  

Nope. Hubby told me to ignore them. He said to do whatever I wanna do and tell them to fuck off.
