re: New feature: Parentank Activity

I like the idea of spell check!

I think if we could chose which friends to be notified about, it would be awesome.

I was wondering when this request would show up, especially from someone with lots of friends  

We've already considered adding this feature, basically there are two options:
1) have an option to filter activity to friends in your top 10.
2) let you create a custom list of friends that you need to maintain and manage.

Would you find the first option too limiting?

If the custom list lets you have more than 10 i'd go with that, if not then the top 10.

For today I will need to leave it at 5 minutes while I keep an eye on the site performance. So far so good, though, so I should be able to close the gap to 1 minute.

I've now updated the system to refresh your Parentank Activity every minute, so now the average delay between an event and when it shows up for you should be about 30 seconds ;)
