people piss me off [ VENT ]

so, i'm 14 and this is my second pregnancy.
i got pregnant when i was 13 and had a MC.
but i'm almost to my due date with my special baby girl.
this was a PLANNED pregnancy, my fiance and i WANTED to get pregnant and have a baby.
yes i was into the drugs and drinking and hardcore shit.
but it ALL STOPPED when i found out i was pregnant at like 3 wks along.
of course i've lost my childhood and everything i had "going for me" wich wasn't much at the time.
but i knew that, so my problem is.
i'm so tired of everyone looking down on us teen moms we made the choice to keep our baby.
so why treat us like we're trash and that we don't know how to be good mommies?
i have support from my aunt, who has done so much for me while i've been pregnant.
she's taken my fiance and i in and let us live with her.
before Travis got his job at Wal-Mart she bought us a travel system and a bunch of clothes.
i say as long as you can take care of your child and get your child the proper things that he/she needs.
then age shouldn't matter.
so stop lookin down on teen moms, we can be better moms then some 30 yr olds out there that leave their babies in cars, and put them in microwaves.

So you planned to have a baby and were still doing drugs (those two things TOTALLY go along) and there is nothing more retarded than a child TRYING to have a child. Accidents happen and you should be proud that you are taking care of your responsibilies but OF COURSE people look down on you for being pregnant at 14 and this being your SECOND pregnancy.

um so you're living with your aunt. Sorry hon, but last time I checked that's not supporting yourself. And what were you doing drinking and doing drugs at 13 anyways!!! Especially while trying to get pregnant?!?! I think 14 is too young to be PLANNING a pregnancy. If it happens by accidend when you were using protection then I think people should support you if you are trying your best. However to be trying for a baby you should be able to take care of yourself first and at 14 there is no way you are doing that. You aren't even old enough to have a job because most places require you to be 16 cuz of labor laws. However, since you already got yourself pregnant best of luck to you and I hope you don't have to learn a lesson at the expense of an innocent child.

well you have to understand also, that you dont see a 14 yr old pregnant everyday...thats probably why people stare. edited to add....why would you try to get pregnant at 14???????????

So the most important weeks of your baby's development you where out getting fucked up.

The fact that you are 14 and got pregnant on purpose isnt exactally something to be bragging about. You do not own a house. You do not have a job (I will assume because of age limits.) You are not supporting your baby. You can be a good mom, whether youre 800 or 14, but youve got to think about the responsibility of it all. Say your boyfriend gets tired of having a kid screaming at him all the time, or your aunt decided she wants yall to leave.. Then what? You cant get a job now. So youre stuck with an infant and nothing.. Its not very good planning, but that of course is just my opinion. The deed is done. They arent looking down on you because you decided to keep the baby, they are looking down on you because love isnt all that you need to raise a kid.
