How are abortions past 20 weeks?

I'm 34 and never thought that this was right. But I'm pro-life except in rape incest or health issues. Well my bf and I have been together and he beats me badly. I left him but don't have anywhere to go... I use and to live with him that's what I need to do. I'm also a sex worker which he's pretty much forced me in. They're going to take the baby away in fostercare. He's excited. But I have realized I want a secret abortion. I can't have his baby. I know in California it's not illegal. But I mean how much are they how can I try to afford it? I'm almost 20 weeks that's why I asked...

How can he force you to be a prostitute, especially after you left him? Who is "they" and how can "they" take your baby away and put it in foster-care?

hospital when they test would call cps...

I have no place to go besides him no money no family and therefore I'm stuck with him plus if he ever found I left I think he'd want to kill me...

Sounds like you need to contact the police if that's the case.   They can help you out in some way I'm sure.

The further along you are, the higher the cost is unfortunately and the procedure is more difficult than a first trimester one.

I would give your local planned parenthood a call and see if they can give you more information on it.

The hospital would call CPS and take your child? For what reason?

If you're worried he might kill you, the last thing you need to do is remain in contact with him. Let the police know your worries and try to protect yourself from him.

They'd just arrest me too. I would call but I am not the most law abiding I know it would turn bad.

they can't arrest you unless they catch you in the act of doing something illegal or have overwhelming evidence of the fact.
