Prenatal Vitamins

I was told im sospose to take them no matter what but im finding they are makin me more an more sick . I stoped for a while to see an i feel way better . What am i sospose to do my doctor said im sospose to take them so i get all i need buh if they make me sick all day everyday ?

have you tried taking them at night before you go to sleep?

don't stress it!...............Our parents didn;t have PP and we turned out fine!!! I don't take mine aither I just take the time to eat right

I had the same problem, so I started taking kids vitamins but instead of once a day i took 2, i had to take one at night and one in the morning bc if i took them both at once they would make me sick to.

Eek, thats what i did too. I'm starting up again taking flintstones and i take them before i sleep. they should work fine =)

a lot of people have the same problem and the doctors get them to take flinstone vitamins instead. talk to your doctor about it.

i dont take them... they hade me sick and I can never remember... occasionally if I think of them I will take them but my mom never did either... baby looks extremely healthy and I ma gaining weight perfectly...

take them after a meal and with a full glass of water, then try to lay down. hope it works!

i heard lots of women say that taking them at night before bed was easier on their stomachs. my doc said if those didnt agree with me then to double up on flinstones. you need something! also maybe try to take them with food or try drinking a glass of milk with them.

i hope you are getting enough calcium!!! try to get lots because even after you have your healthy baby your teeth could rot out of your mouth... the vitamins are for you! the baby will take everything it needs from you including calcium from your bones and teeth.. the baby comes first when it comes to nutrition in your body. just take that into consideration! i for one, like teeth!

i have taken my prenatals everyday for all 3 pregnancies and it has still messed up my teeth.

lol... i do worry about my teeth... i have calcium pills and i am a BIG milk drinker... i just cant ever remember to take them!! which is weird cuz i took my bcp faithfully for 4 years...

I never take the PP and my teeth are fine! But I love cheese! maybe thats why my teeth are fine!

I took prenatals for the first few weeks, but they made me really sick...after talking to my OB she said it was perfectly ok to take the One A Day Women's Vitamin because it has the same thing in it as a prenatal...so I would recommend going out and purchasing those...I don't get sick at all, and the baby is still getting everything it needs.  

*plus that vitamin has extra calcium and supports breast health just in case you're planning on breastfeeding.
