99 cent store test

tested positve on a 99 cent store test but negative with a test from OBGYN, has this happened to any one

it works , i got one for april fools and peed on in and im prego and yeah works!

I think I read on one of the other threads about a bad batch of dollar store tests giving false positives. It is possible though to get a positive on one test and negative on another and still be pregnant.

I just had my son on 2.08.08 and was on the nuva ring. I took it out though because I was in alot of pain. I will test again in 2weeks, but I usually test on EPT, and have never gotten a false positve...

What brand was it?

I don't remember but on the box it says compared to EPT.

Ok! I've used that one but it said negative and it was correct.

I did have a false positive back in October. It's rare but it does happen!

I am so lost but will test again in 1-2 weeks

I tested with one of those and I got a faint positive but when I went in the doctor said that it was so faint that it was almost a negative. Your levels might not be high enough., I will tell you this, I was on the nuvaring and took it for problems and I am pregnant now

so you are telling me you got prego on the nuva ring

i took 4 dollar store test and one first response and they all were positive for me. Maybe get a blood test.

my first test was a dallor store test it came out positive but the line was verry faint so i took ept and it did the same so just to be shure i went and got a blood test and i was!!!!!
i would just do like you are doing and take one in anuther 2 weeks congrats if you are! and congrats on your feb. arival!

Yes that is what I am telling you!!

I will be going tomorrow to get another test and see what it says. I still am wondering why I tested positve on one but not the other.

Each test read the different HCG levels, one brand might only give a positive if your level is over 100, but it another test reads at 20, than you will test positive on the 20 but not the 100, because your levels haven't increased to 100 yet. Levels in early pregnancy rise very quickly, you should wait about 2-3 days and use a first response.
