It sucks. I'm glad that hubby and I have been together since we were 15 so their really isnt any ex's other then petty middle school ones. I have seen some people in your situation and as much as it sucks only using his leave for them is choosing one over the other. He has free legal so he can FORCE her to fly the kids up to you. If they have joint custody then he can get them legally for up to 6 months out of the year even with her as the primary parent. I would hate to tell someone either fight or let go (basically put it on the mothers shoulders for the kids to see him) but its also not fair to be the one standing right there in front of him and he is STILL missing it. If the other kids are old enough then he could talk to them and explain that he cant come down and that their mom needs to send them to see him. As long as he makes sure they know his door is always open then they should understand. Me personally would file and take her to court that way there was no oh their coming then oh their not.

As far as overseas. I have a friend in Guam and she says its AMAZING. All the pics I see are beautiful. She says its really like a tropical fantasy and the beach is only 10 minutes away.

We have taken it to the point of getting a lawyer here , however they cant do a damn thing ... we have to file for everything in the state the kids are in which is nc ( according to them ) ....and he doesnt have the leave to be able to go battle it out with her...... She one of those ex's that is still hurt 3 years down the road and is wanting to vengeful .... She needs to grow up , and move on .... but thats her issue not mine ... Hes looking into seeing what he can do next time he goes to visit them , plus with there being two kids in my household now , child support needs to be re-figured .... ( normally I would leave it as is , however shes just paying her credit card bills with it ... living off the state and her mom and dad , the kids wear garage sale clothing and she returns anything we buy them for a store credit to get what she wants ) .. So hopefully we can work something out in the long run ....

You can get a special POA and go in his place. That way you can get thing started and set the court date for his leave time. I dont really see it happening all on his leave which is why i suggest you going and getting it started. You can ask to drop the child support and just send them to you for 6 months out of the year. If she is living off of other people it shouldnt be too hard to get that. See if you can get a Liason for the kids so they can talk to someone alone and varify that they dont get to keep what you send and dont really profit off the money their mom gets. I know a guy who filed for sole custody through his brother with a special POA and the court date was set for his R&R date and he actually WON the case and when he went back downrange his little girl went to live with his sister. After losing primary custody the mother just ran off and he couldnt find her later so he had her rights terminated.
