Im having a hard time deciding how much I should be working out with weights. I used to alternate upper body and lower body so I could do one each day but Ive found a good workout that lets me do both at the same time pretty well. Ive gotten into it and like to do it everyday but idk if its bad to be doing a work out with weights when I am already sore. Do I need to be taking a day in between to rest or is that only if I am doing really intense work outs? Maybe Ill try going back to upper body one day and lower body the next.

I posted this on myfitnesspal but I wanted to be open here to, hoping I can recieve advice or support and let others know about my struggle with food.

I'm going to "start over again" again tomorrow. I haven't gained weight yet or lost but seeing as how I am bingeing ever 2 days I thought I would be honest with myself and others and hopefully overcome this.


Well I finally did it, I logged one of my binges. I don't know why this has popped back up. I had posted a NSV a while back that I finally felt like I had a good relationship with food. I guess I was wrong. I hope posting it and being honest with myself will help me get back on track. I know some might not understand, I have a binge eating problem though and I thought I had overcame it but I guess not. I want to be honest right now and open up about something I never have before. I have always been overweight, I was always obese and I have been obsessed with my weight since I was 11, by age 14 I did starve myself and I did binge/purge untill I was 16. I got on a healthy diet and lost 60 pounds but after falling back into my depression I started binging and purging again for a few months untill my boyfriend (now husband) found out what I was doing and helped me stop, I then gained 100+ pounds in 4 years. I guess while I DID stop purging I never stopped eating my feelings, etc. I have lost almost 30 pounds this time, eating healthy and exercising and taking a multi vitamin, but I knew I was going more into a depression the last two months and I guess old habits have came back (minus the purging, though I will admit I have been tempted) I'm going to keep pushing, so far I think went 2 days without it. I hope to go at least a week this time. I have an appointment on the 24th to talk to someone about getting back on meds for depression. I hope I can still have support from you guys, even though I am struggling. I plan to start new tomorrow, and exercise more since I have found exercising does help me from doing that, I have just been lazy lately.

I am sorry you are having to struggle with this   I have been where you are. I have struggled with binge eating, binging and purging and binging and starvation. Whenever I start to get back into counting calories I can feel the old triggers of starvation dieting rising to the surface and its hard to keep them down. I think it is great you are open about it, I think talking about it is very helpful. I wish I had had a support system like BG when I was in high school/middle school when it started to turn to. Im here for you anytime you want to talk. For me its still a struggle but getting on antidepressants has helped. And exercise helps me because it makes me feel healthier overall and good that I am taking care of myself.

I'd maybe rest every third day? Like work out monday, tuesday, rest wednesday, then work out thursday, friday, etc.

Started my period today, FINALLLLLLLLLLY. Now, hopefully my face can clear up and this bloat will go away.   Also means, as soon as it's gone, I can try those wraps! I was going to do one on Saturday, but I read not to do them when you're on your period or right before it shows up (which it was supposed to start on Saturday), so I'll do my first one later this week!

Pretty proud of myself though, I did both of my work outs today! I start Level 2 of 30DS tomorrow, I'm also going to take pictures, to see if there's any difference.

Level 2 was HARD! But I feel great now.  

Also, I used my magic bullet for the first time today and omg, guys. It's SO perfect for green smoothies!!!

Hi Ladies I have been slacking the last few days. Went to boot camp today and I have a feeling I am going to be really sore tomorrow! Its really hard to get past being so sore the next day I am having a hard time working out when I am so sore.

I've learned to just work through it, but you're right, at first, it's tough!

Help me find something cute to wear when Seth gets home!!  

I'm not down with wearing some patriotic flag shirt for his ceremony.   I want something cute!!

I've been browsing pinterest for days looking for ideas, but I just don't know what i want yet.

I think I'll definitely be wearing some new jeans, since it'll still probably be cold in KS next month.

Will you be meeting him inside the airport or somewhere outside you need to be bundled up? If you have to be bundled up, that will just leave more for him to see later   have you picked out a sexy time outfit to wear yet?   that will really showcase your hard work!!

They have this huge ceremony inside a building! So, I shouldn't be too bundled up, but layers might be a good idea.  

And I've been looking for something perfect, I have a couple ideas though.

I am so excited for you!   Its coming up so soon! Is there a favorite outfit/type of outfit he likes on you? or a favorite color on you?
