I love when I'm sore.   That's when you know you got a good work out!!

Quoting ♥Lexies Mommy:" Hahaha I dont either. You should try a mile do you have a local high school just go run on the track? It really works out your body really different I was surprised!!!"

I did it for a PE class a few years ago but didn't pay attention to time and yeah we have tracks around here. I can't actually run right now because of my breasts haha, because of breastfeeding they are far too sore. I tried the 30ds a few weeks ago and couldn't do half the cardios like jumping jacks and smurf all because it hurt the hell out of my breasts... Lame lol

Running is awesome, back when I was skinny/fit I used to run every night but that feels like a lifetime ago and it really was like that long ago!

Quoting ♥Love♥:" Im sorry it wasnt the results you were hoping for Nichole   But 7lbs in 2 weeks still is really great! I am sure you will be able to break through the plateau soon  "

I definitely agree the total loss is great, what worries me is that the loss was all in the first week except one pound. So I've stalled big time even though the 2nd week is when I started working out so it should not have happened.

Quoting aℓyssa™:" That's the same weight I plateaued at.   I'd be stuck between 178-183, no matter what I did I couldn't get out of it. I hope it breaks over this next week!! I definitely know how frustrating it is. "

Oh damn, you know what... This is making me think of something I read a while back about stalling at your "set point" weight wise. Like if it's a weight that you've spent a lot of time at your body won't want to go under it and it will be hard to break past that range of weight. I have definitely spent a lot of time at 175-180'ish pounds in the last 5 years.... I wonder if I am hitting my set point.. Cuz I am still exactly 182.7 for exactly 7 days so far.... Hmmm what should I do to break it?? What did you do? I'm headed to the gym again tonight for a crazy hard workout with a gf but I've done that 3 other times this week and done my ballet beautiful home work outs too..

I get even more motivated the more I lose. Getting that first 10lbs off is key for me and then boom you can't stop me, almost to a fault though lol

Oh wow, that would make sense! I averaged between 178 - 182 from 2009 - the end of 2011. So, yeah. I can easily see how that's true! I'm so glad that I'm past that now.

Nichole, how I broke mine is lots of water and then I tricked my body with calorie intake, like one day I'd eat 1200 then I'd eat 2000 and every other day just changing my calories every day. And it helped!

If that doesn't make sense I'll go into further detail. I'm at work talking with a client and typing at the same time.

Weighed myself this morning, I was still 172.4

Which means, next week I SHOULD have a big loss, because I can tell I'm pretty bloated right now due to AF.

Totally understand, I've heard about that before. I'll try it!

That's great! I broke my weight loss by 3 ounces, which is nothing but my weight literally was 182.7 for 7 straight days to the ounce so it is something in a downward direction....

I don't think I'm going to follow down the traditional Atkins approach. I am going to stay lower carb but do more of a healthy version that doesn't have so much fat in it. That would make me like what I'm eating more and probably help me weight loss wise. So I'll do only small amounts of 100% whole grains foods, lots of veggies, fruits, and healthy fats, low sugar, low fat, low calorie, and all natural foods without gluten or any refined starches...

I think that sounds like a great plan Nichole!
