re: Weight loss journey

How was everyones weekend?

Im having some trouble motivating SO to keep on track, I know that he wants to lose weight for himself but I think he has emotional eating issues too and its hard to help him when I have the same thing going on myself. We are going to exercise together once Im ready so I think that might help.

You know I didn't realize before just how bad my emotional eating was. I started prozac and it's helped SO MUCH. The eating was really tied in with my depression (that I didn't even realize I had)

I emotionally eat too and apparently hormonally eat too

Thats great it helped you! I take an antidepressant but it doesnt really help, well maybe it does and I dont realize that it would be worse without it...

I'm actually excited to weigh myself tomorrow.  

I've been stuck in this plateau and weighing in between 178-182 for months. The monday after Thanksgiving, I weighed myself at 188.9lb. (I was just starting AF, so that explains that) and then last Saturday (12/1) I weighed in at 182.7!

I've worked out ALL week and ate fairly well, so I'm hoping before Christmas I'll be able to break this plateau.

Yay, I hope you have a great weigh in tomorrow! I gained a pound, but since I breastfeed still and have pp hormones I don't count that as an actual gain but more water weight differences because I tend to fluctuate like 3lbs now at any time of the day. lol

I am still having pp bleeding so can't exercise yet, and breastfeeding so can only eat healthy not actually restrict... This is uncharted territory for me!

You're doing great anyways! Don't worry about it, you have PLENTY of time and that little baby needs all that awesome nutrition from you right now.

I seriously just want to break this plateau and I will be officially stoked!

I have jeans that when I bought, they were TIGHT (Two years ago), slight muffin top.. then I gained weight and couldn't even pull them up. I have them on right now and they're super baggy on me, all over. It's awesome.

Im still at the point that my favorite ones wont even get past my thights    it sucks ass too because I have so many pairs of Sevens, Joes, Rock & Republic and I cant wear them   (I blew alot of money in high school on jeans! Now im such a tight ass with money I cannot believe I ever bought them!!)

I still buy expensive jeans.   But not nearly as much as I used too!  

I have a pair of Big Stars that I got for Christmas a couple years ago, they're a size 30 (pretty sure I've NEVER been in a size 30, lmao, I was a 31 prepregnancy, between a 31/32 now) and to top it off they're slim fitted and ultra low rise.. But SOME day I will be determined to fit myself into those without a horrid muffin top.  

I'm going to have a bad weight week this week, haha. I've been so nervous about the Christmas party for my husbands work tonight that I've been eating non-stop, haha. I went and picked out a new outfit. This is it. SOrry for the bad picture, it was from the changing room, haha



I wanted to add one from this time last year (as in what I wore to the party last year) but I can't find one. . .hmmmmm. I'll post it if I can find it

Kohl's! I had to take the kids with me, haha, but yeah! They had it in red, black, cream, and some other pattern color. I thought the red looked festive, lol.
