As long as you're not drowning your stuff in your dressing you're good!   Along with nuts, in small portions they're good. But if you eat an entire bag, yeah.. not so go good, lol.

It's taken me a over a year, but that's with a lot of ups an downs. I started in December 2011. I got to 185ish, then found out I was pregnant and M/C in April 2012. I weighed between 190-200 until June, then I started working out and eating better and got stuck between 182-188 until November. Then I kicked it into high gear and am now 168.  

Now my goal is to get under 160, then under 150, then under 140! We're going to start TTC in July, so I'm hoping I can get as close to possible to my goal by then. I'm also I lot more motivated now than I was when I first started!

Hey Ladies!
I am new to this group. I started my weight loss journey a year ago. I started at 190 and am currently 165. My first goal is 155 my final goal is 124.
I workout on the elliptical for 40 minutes each day. I also do weight training at home. Just with a couple dumb bells.
I have been eating well, I use a lot of recipes on skinnytaste.com and weight watchers. (I don't go to any of the meetings, I just do it on my own)

I do not want to wait till spring/summer so I can get out of the house with my kids, I have 2 boys. Last summer we were always out going for walks to the park, roller blading and bike riding. My kids love it during the summer. Only 23 days till spring.

Hi ladies   I think I may of been apart of this thread last year but I really don't remember. I've lost 50lbs so far, it's taken a while (4 years) with just slowly changing my portion control. When I was pregnant I would scarf 4 deep fried burrittos covered in cheese. I was so BAD. I also started working in a housing program and building houses for the past 6 months, it can be pretty intense sometimes! But I want to lose atleast 20 more! So I want to start actually working out here soon. Any reccomendations or work out videos?


230 (still pregnant) and now down to 180...

I want to get to 140 by this summer! Lets do this!

I LOVE your hair and you look amazing.  

Welcome back!  

I'd start with a short video, like the 30 day shred. A lot of people lose at least 10-15lb in thirty days! And then you're working your way up to a more intense, longer video.

I'm 166.3lb, so .1 lighter than when we left for KS.  

I started a Insanity/Brazil Butt Lift hybrid this morning! I'm excited to see the results over the next 70 days. I'm hoping it'll get me under 150.

I had to weigh myself for the challenge/fit group I'm in on FB for our monthly challenge.

Surprisingly, I'm 165. That's down 1.3lb in ONE day. Can't complain about that, lol.

BBL- Bum Bum killed me last night, it's so fast paced. But it's good!

Then Insanity - Pure Cardio made me feel like I was going to puke this morning. LOL.

I guess you could say they're working? I'll do BBL - Tummy Tuck tonight after work.

omg. i just have to say... I hit 179 the other day. It's the first time I've seen then 170's on the scale in almost 5 YEARS!! I was 174 when I got pregnant... are you serious im only a few away from my pre preg weight...

i was def in total shock when I seen it

I worked out today! First time in a while    the scale said 218.5 today, not great but it said 220 this weekend   so Im hopeful that I havent undone too much progress. My dress fitting is May 1st, I really dont think I will have lost enough by then to have it taken in any   but at least it wont have to be let out I guess?

Does anyone have any good tips for toning arms? When I was 185 summer 2010 my arms were just as huge as they were when I was 230. (I think they are disproportionally large to my weight/body type.) I swear I lose EVERWHERE but my arms! I am wearing a strapless dress and my mom makes me feel really self conscience about my arms.

Hey ladies, so much stuff has been going on lately and I just don't even wanna get into it but I will just say I had to turn down the Nursing program for now. I should be able to start in their next cohort which is in August but we'll see...

Other than that I've just been trucking along but have been stalled for a few weeks... Been waiting for that breakthrough moment weight loss wise and haven't gotten it then boom 3/1 I started my first PP period since having Sophie at exactly 4 months PP. So I'm hoping that was what had been going on. I mean I know I'm doing a good job so that has to be it..

Anyways I skipped to the end as I had missed too many pages to want to go back and check up on with my hectic life so if you're new and want to be added to the OP then respond with your weight info. If anyone else needs me to update the OP just let me know.

Alyssa, are you sick?? Everyone is sick I swear, hate this time of year for that reason!

Love, exercise and dieting consistently is the only way to go down before your fitting and also to tone your arms along with diet do things like push ups, use weights and do an arm workout really diet and then targeting that area is the only suggestion that I have. But don't let your moms opinion ruin your day!! Okay?

I'm sorry to hear you have to wait until August! But I would bet after this period, you'll start losing again.  

And yes, I was sick all weekend. Finally felt better yesterday. It was terrible, I had the worst migraine and stomach ache and constant *tmi* diarrhea.
