how common is it to go early?

I was thinking about it today... I am 36 weeks now and I never made it this far with my daughter. Now I am scared it could be any day.. How many of you went early? How many weeks? I am curious and would love to know..   Thanks ladies

i had kailey 6 days early... not TOO early lol but still early

I had my daughter a week earlie not to earlie but it was still earlie i would have had her ealier then that but the doctors were able to stop my labor.. I wish you the best of luck 

I had my first son early at 36 wks and was told that my second child would be early as well , well she was 2wks late, but with the last two children they were 2wks and 1 wk early...

awww yeah that wouldnt be good. my friend had her baby like 2 or 3 weeks early because her water broke i believe. lecture him and tell him to stay in there longer or hes grounded! lol i dunno im a dork

My daughter came a month early due to toxemia. Other than a little jaundice, she was perfectly fine and came home 2 days later.

I have three kids and never make it past 37 weeks and they are all perfectly fine.

Thanks ladies. I am not scared about him being okay... the honest truth is that I am not ready lol. I have been thinking to myself.. oh I have to get this done, this done, that done... but I have 3 more weeks so that is plenty of time! Plus I was thinking in the back of my head.. all this will give me stuff to do to pass that "waiting" period.. But reality just hit me the other day! I AM GOING TO HAVE A BABY IN 3 WEEKS! omg! Sorry for the caps, had to express what I felt at that moment haha. So yes.. now I am freaking out because I didn't take into consideration that he could be here before that! Oops.. my bad. Now I am just praying that I actually make it to the 7th.

You did say you had another child right? I find that with this one I am super duper last minute girl, but I think that as far as the basics I will have those and the little stuff will just come when it does. I don't quite have everything done I would like (flowers planted outside, bed for my 3 year old, bassinet set up and washed, toys, bouncers, swings, etc...) But I figure life goes on after I have her so it will get done at some point. I might just get lucky and my husband will do it!!!!! That's some serious wishful thinking, but oh well, LOL!
