Not having the benefit of marriage from the man who knocked you up is short changing you and your child. There are no laws that protect you as just "the mother of his child" or "the girl he is playing house with". You aren't entitled to anything should he burn you and abandon you or God forbid DIE. You aren't entitled to any life insurance, social security or pensions. All you are is the women who donated an egg to his child. You aren't his legal wife and he has no responsibility to you and to a large extent you both are cheating your child out of the benefit of having two legally married parents wh share the same last name and are morally and legally bound to one another.

You can sit here and justify your immaturity and irresponsibility to yourself and the rest of the cupcakes here who think they have it so great *living* with their baby daddy and *loving* their babies. But the reality is you are too immature and self centered to even have a child let alone be married. It just saddens me what our society has come to and the type of women it is producing. Get a backbone and stand up for yourself and get some self respect. Make your baby's daddy commit to you under the eyes of the law and society. For crying out loud.
