Wow what a bitch... well my boyfriend and I have been together 6 years, since I was a Freshmen in HS and we've never had money for a wedding and I dont want to just go to the courthouse. For me its not a big deal. When the time is right, we'll do it.

Heres the original messages- start from the bottom and work your way up.
I'm afraid my husband will leave me?
I think you little twits who settle for just living with your boyfriends after they knock you up are afraid they will leave YOU if you expect a marital commitment. ha!
I am secure in my marriage, my husband stood before God and our families and the community and promised to love, honor and cherish me. Too bad you losers can't get your guys to do that.

I took it upon myself to fight her battle because you are not only insulting her, but all families who arent married with children. And you still have not answered my question. Giving your children a "commited" relationship is not physically giving them anything. I want to know what you give your children from a marriage that we unmarried people cant? My child gets love, attention, and affection without her father and I being married. It sounds to me like you are scared of your husband leaving you. Like if you weren't married, he'd leave you. I feel sorry for your children if they are taught to grow up with your values.

First of all, my children and myself and my husband all share a last name. Secondly, my children have the benefit of coming from a commited marriage relationship rather than just two people "shacking up" and playing house. It is a bit harder to get divorced than it is to just walk away from one another. My husband and I gave our future children the benefit of our commitment to one another when we stood up and publically proclaimed our commitment to be a family.'
Now, I guess it isn't cool anymore to get married and be a family, all with the last name and all legally bound to one another so nothing I can say will convince you and does your friend really need you to fight her battles?

Totally agree. Whats she doing on this site anyway if she has such a problem with parents putting kids in daycare or having kids in unmarried relationships? Theres alot more than a few of those types on this site so Im assuming she must have a problem with a whole lot of people.
