postpartum body shapers?

posted 14th Apr '08
I've heard that wearing a body shaper after you give birth really helps pull things back in. I've been on the Spanx website but they want $76 for theirs. Has anyone used a body shaper they can recommend that's cheaper

I would like to know where you could get them cheaper too. I just today checked out that website and couldn't believe how much they were!

With my first I just wore Support top panty hose under my clothes. I did it so I could fit into normal clothes while I was waiting for my skin to tighten up. After my first I didn't really care and just wore stretchy clothes.

Hi Ladies

DONT get the Spanx....after all the good things ive heard, they didnt do anything. seriously. I could tell absolutly no difference in the way my clothing looked before and after. Even my hubby agreed. I spent $80 for nothing and im pissed.

i got the dr. rey one from sears. it was $40 and it helped so much. my tummy muscles were just gone and it really helped me stand up straight. it also took at least an inch or 2 off when i wore my clothes and smoothed out my rolls. :p i loved it and still wear it with some of my dressy clothes.

My momma had one for a while when I was little..but she kept on alot of weight after having my brothers. She didn't lose it for years later. She's still beautiful to me, but I just worry I will end up with one..

Do those tummy band things you can get in the exercise section help any?
