Ok, so I had to make a fold-able pad... Wow! This is seriously my new favorite! There are sooo many layers to go through, so if I used flannel instead of the pink and purple rectangles, this pad would be bulletproof!   These would actually be great for postpartum use too. When folded, it will have 5 layers to go through... And if I did PUL down the center strip, man....

What do you ladies think?

Will do. Those are nifty. I bleed through regular ones, so I need something thicker anyways. Just have some expenses to take care of before buying fun stuff.

Oh I know how that goes! >_< I'm waiting "patiently" to be able to buy more fabric to make these foldable pads. What absorbent fabric would be good? I want to try andkeep it thin when folded so it dosnt feel like a diaper, kwim? Lol

Haha well, this one is made with french terry, so its thin and absorbent. Other "flat pads" I've seen are only made of flannel. One of my friends uses one made completely from flannel, ad she said it was super absorbent and super thin.   if I don't use all flannel, I may use a combo of flannel and something else...

Hey, I have a question. Mine are mostly all stained now. I always soak them in the sink for at least 30 minutes after use then stick them in a container with a lid till I wash them and they're still stained. I've even used LO's dreft stain remover on them and it doesn't help at all. I have been drying them in the sun. I mean, it's not a huge issue but if I could keep them stain free that would be nice, you know?

I would try BacOut, or an oxygen bleach. Do you rinse them in cold running water after each use, and how are you washing them?

Yes. I'm just throwing them in the wash with my other clothes. I'll try the BacOut
