I was curious does anyone know what is safe to use to clear up acne?

ya, id like to hear these answers. I heard rubbing alcohol?

Someone told me they used proactive during pregnancy.

DONT USE RUBBING ALCOHOL it will dry out your face!!!!!

sorry/ I did that when I was younger.. bad idea. preggo or not.

I am sure a lot of things would be safe as long as they aren't medicated.

I use a foaming cleanser day and night. After I wash, then I use an alcohol free toner. When you wash your face you take away your face's natural oils and change the ph balance, so using toner, clears up extra dirt and balances out the ph again! Then use a moisturizer fit to your complexion. I am combination, so I use that during the day and then a night moisturizer.

I had pimples all the time and when I got a facial, the lady really educated me about how to properly take care of my face and since then, it's been so clear and healthy!
I use Neutrogena....... oh yeah, don't pick and don't scrub the crap out your face. Rubbing alcohol totally dries out your face; not good.

Maybe my hubby needs to be educated about taking me to get a facial!!!

i use neutrogena foaming wash too, do u use the toner as well? maybe thats the secret

I used proactive, but it ended up backfiring on me because the facial cleanser is very strong on the skin. It exfoliates, which is good..........(you should try St. Ives Apricot Scrub once a week-gets rid of dead skin) but proactive OVER does it and your face ends up losing its defense because your constantly removing the top layer of skin.

My husband got me a day at the spa for my bday! It was sooo nice and perfect timing. I would get a facial over a massage any day now!

My face is super oily no matter how much I wash it and love on it.

I just need a facial and to go get educated.

Is it a blue bottle? I use the toner yes. That stuff smells so good. And its alcohol free, so its gentle.

lucky, mine buys me apartment stuff even though we're not moving into one yet. But he did buy me a $200 set of pots and pans   (WHICH ARE MORE FOR HIM HE'S A CHEF) but iget to eat all his yummy food, so i guess the new dishes are for me

I know i have a hard time not picking at my face lol but it just seems like everytime a pimple leaves another one is right there to replace it and they hurt i just hate it lol

I used the apricot cleasner but ended up getting the scrub instead because washing with those beads everyday isn't good for your skin. But I use the scrub and masks now. I was in awe after my facial, lol. I also just got done learning about skin and pH balance in college, so now I am over educated, lol.

I feel like a nerd.
