Anyways, anyone who is on Lovenox or has been in the past while pregnant. Did you start to get sore from your shots as you got further along? I'm 28 weeks, and just recently starting bruising. But I've noticed the shots seem to hurt a bit more, and I'm kinda sore from them recently, where as they didn't really seem to bother me until recently.

I have MTHFR as well, but i don't really know what it is other than a clotting disorder.... I have had 8 miscarriages and 1 still birth, and while my son that was still born was because of eclampsia (and the dr's negligence) that went septic, there were also blood clots all around him, in him, in his umbilical cord, in the placenta, and in my uterus. I'm pregnant again and cant seem to find a dr to see me... I'm supposed to be started on Lovenox because that is what saved my 2 daughters.... I am just wondering what exactly it is and how did it come about because i only was diagnosed with it 3 1/2 years ago. And no one has given me a full answer about it.

Yup each time I had to do them around 5 months it started bruising and hurting. And now it just hurts even tho its been two years, I just started them again yesterday. I hate it. It hurts pretty bad.

I guess I'll do my intro. I'm Stef, 27, and I have a 3 year old daughter named Lola. She was my first pregnancy and everything went well, with the exception of a brief NICU stay. I've been pregnant 3 times since, and they all ended in miscarriage. After my 3rd miscarriage, I was able to have the recurrent loss testing done. I recently found out that I have MTHFR, as well as other clotting factors. My DH and I just started TTC again. I'm taking 2400 mcg of folic acid, 81 mg of aspirin and a prenatal vitamin daily. After I get pregnant, I will have to be on Lovenox injections and progesterone suppositories. I guess I'm just wondering how many of you were able to have a successful pregnancy with Lovenox? I'm terrified of having another miscarriage.

Hello everyone, my name is Diana. I'm 22 and I have a 3yo son. I was diagnosed with factor V & MTHFR. I had some what of a hard time ttc baby #2 but we did it! I'm 10wks pregnant, hoping & praying this pregnancy goes through. I know the seriousness of this genetic mutation which scares the heck out of me, but I trust in God and my Dr that all the medicine I'm on Is only for the good of my baby. I felt so alone in this knowing that only a small percentage of women have what I have, but still decided to post and see if anyone could relate.
