They are a pain in the ass, lol. I put a cold pack on my stomach every night for a couple minutes before doing it, so it's not as bad. I would have thought it got easier with time, but for some reason mine seemed to hurt worse. Then I started icing it and you don't even feel it.

I could barely poke my finger to check my blood sugar. Luckily my husband will be around if I need someone else to stab me. haha.

Does anyone have von willebrand's disease? I was diagnosed with it as a child and it never bothered me until the end of my pregnancy.

They really aren't that bad. I know Scerria used to have her hubby do hers. I give mine to myself though.

As long as you put the cold pack on first theyre not bad. My hubby did to mine   I could of if I HAD to but I really didnt want to.

Dutch would probably pass out if he had to give me a shot  I'd probably have better luck having Trinity do it for me.

hey ladies I would like to join! I have Protein S deficiency, it doesnt effect me on a day to day basis just while I'm pregnant. I had to take Lovenox injections when I was pregnant with my son.

the first day I got my shots I asked my husband to do it, well he just stood there with it in his hand forever before he said he couldnt do it. big chicken!

Rob is a paramedic but never worked as one so he's cool with it all. I couldnt do it myself, I almost passed out, hahaha.

I have heterozygous MTHFR that was diagnosed in may of 2011 when it was found that my arms were completely and partially clotted at 7 weeks pregnant. My doctors still dont know if birth control contributed to the blood clot in my head in 2009 or if it was he bc and this gene mutation.

Was anyone able to just stop lovenox after pregnancy and not take anything els? I go see my hematologist tomorrow and I'm fairly nervous he'll want to start me on Coumadin again

I have Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome. It's an autoimmune disorder.

i've been told i MAY have a blood clotting disorder. i was supposed to have an appointment about it with my last miscarriage, but i never went. i think it's time i finally go, i eventually want more children, so i think i need to.
