Aw I can't believe how big these babies are getting! AJ's working on rolling over--he did it a couple of times yesterday, but it was on a soft mattress, so I don't think it counts LOL

We're still having so many issues with him getting terribly gassy--anyone have any tips to try? We use drop in bottles, slower flow nipples, fussines/gas formula, and we've tried gas drops and gripe water, to varying degrees of success, but it's not enough. The last few nights have seemed particularly bad, with AJ up and fussing a decent portion of the night and passing lots of gas and just generally uncomfortable and fussy.

Have you tried laying him in your legs on his tummy and gently bouncing your legs? Holding them in a cradled position with him facing away from you and your hand balled up and on his tummy is also another good idea. You can also pay his back while doing all that, too. Those seem to help Bailey when she's gassy.

I've tried laying him facedown on my legs, but it didn't seem to help. I haven't tried the other way yet, I'll try it. Patting his back or butt seems to calm him sometimes. We found out today he has an ear infection, so they think that's caused him to be more fussy and therefore maybe more gassy. Hopefully it will all settle down in a few days.

Let me talk to a friend of mine, who's baby was born in Aug, she had a VERY colicky baby, and she was told to do something around bed time that was a god send.

She said a combo of gripe water and gas drops in the bottle before bed, along with a bath a a good rub down, concentrating on the belly, before bed, helps. Also, look into changing the formula, too.

So is anyone else having normal periods? I haven't had an bleeding or spotting since my 6 week check up. And since then I have been on birth control and ebf which has been great for me. Losing weight, moods, etc. But of course this morning the day before we head up to the Wisconsin Dells for one last Christmas celebration with my mom at a water park I get up and I'm spotting and now lightly bleeding. Go figure when I am going some where my body is like hello remember this haha. I know this sounds so whiny I just have been so used to no bleeding. I am hoping it is just cause I took my pill late yesterday(taking a mini pill and time is a big deal with them) and this isn't me getting back to a normal period again.

I got my first PP period on the 6th and it ended yesterday.

Weird thing? My LMP for the pregnancy was January 6th. Even weirder? The 6th is Bub's dad's birthday O.o
