Short version of my labour: went to be induced on the 18th, got there and was 2cm dilated. pills got put in and the the doc broke my water. Got strong contractions 3 minutes apart and got to 7cm dilated without feeling ANY pain or contractions... Everyone thought it was amazing. Didn't dilate further and got sent for an emergency c section at 4pm (induction stared at 7). Marcus Angelo was born at 16:28 weighing 3.4kgs and 50cm long. Left the hospital the day after my c section, walked 3 hours after the c section, still no pain what so ever. He is now 5 days old and got admited back into hospital for jaundice. His levels are 14%, is that very high?

No one's posting in here anymore cause we're all busy with our newborns lol. How is everyone?

Ditto. Why do my newborns insist on fighting sleep and being held 24/7?

Mine likes being held while he sleeps. That's my fault though lol.

Doing good, having some latching issues but she is still gaining and had our first hard night with her tonight...she's not a crier but tonight she nursed on and off for hours and i mean hours and then screamed bloody murder like she was starving nursed for 2 mins and passed out. She had been up for damn near 5 hours at that point!! I can not believe she will be a month old on Saturday time is going too fast already!

I just wanted to say that I had Bailey Mae on Oct 22 at 5:37 pm via emergency c-section. She was 7lbs, 6oz, and 20 inches long. She looks like the black headed version of Mack when she was born. Bailey is doing amazing, and breastfeeding amazingly well. We go home tomorrow, so I'll do an entire labor story and post pics then!!

So I have to put this out here.....I think my boyfriend is proposing on Saturday!!! EEEKKKKK I'm freaking excited. We have moved really fast in this relationship we were pregnant by our 3 month anniversary and Sunday is our 1 year and he is taking me out to dinner(with our munchkin) on Saturday and this past weekend I was asking him how we were doing on money since he had taken time off when she was born we are kinda playing catch up and he was like um i can't really tell you cause I bought something that cost about half of what we had in the bank and now he is saying how we are going to dinner and had me set up a sitter for my oldest and how he's trying to figure out how to give me my present.....I'm going to laugh if I'm wrong but I think he's proposing

congrats!! she has the same birth stats as my baby girl! i hope your recovery from the c-section goes smoothly
