I'm jealous!, but congratulations to all the adorable little babies that have been born.

It's one day past my due date. NST is starting today and on the 19th, we will have the induction talk. I hope I don't make it that far.

Awesome labor story....sounds a bit like mine. And I agree the shower is amazing in that transition time, it's what got me through with no meds.

I usually only have like two contractions at night before bed. Today, I had 5 while doing NST, 3 waiting on the midwife to come see me, and more since I have been home. Crazy stuff, but I am only 2 cm dilate with a thick high cervix. So, no change there...yet.

Today is also SO's brother's birthday, he doesn't want to share either. Hahah.

Alexander jacob (aj) was born via c section at 5:05 PM. He was sunnyside up and we couldn't get passed my pelvic bone. He is only 8 lbs and 21.5 inches long and he is adorable and healthy!

I want nothing more then these contractions to be the real thing. We've decided that on Friday, if I don't go into labor on my on, then I am going to tell the OB that we'd prefer a c-section. With all the stress I'm under, the fact my blood pressure is sky high, I have blurry vision, floating spots, super swollen fingers and toes and no change in my cervix, it might be best.

On that note, I hope jumping SOs bones will make these contractions regular!'

i will be 40 weeks tomorrow and still waiting... i have a feeling i will end up needing another induction. ive had to have one with 2 out of 3 of my kids. i have an apt on monday and am going to ask my midwife to strip my membranes. it worked with my son so maybe it will work this time around.
