Do lots of walking!

I had my membranes swept on a Tuesday, i was only 2 cm dilated. That afternoon after my appt i went for a long walk with my husband. I started having contractions Wednesday morning, went into the L&D that night at 11:45 pm, and little man was born Thursday morning.

Damn, maybe go walk? I'm going to ask my Ob to do one on me tomorrow.

Definitely put in a bottle and save in the fridge! Breast milk can last 8 days in the fridge, and a whole lot longer in the freezer!

I am going to ask my OB to sweep mine on Friday, also.

Depends. Is your blood pressure staying up like that, or is that just a one time thing?

My blood pressure is staying about that high, and they're talking about inducing me because of it. They said if my blood pressure is staying above 140/90, then it's too high. My last 6 readings were 119/93, 141/97, 148/94, 139/101, 138/93, 131/99. The bottom number is more important then the top number.

Well my OB just said that it was high on Monday (didn't tell me how high) and that I'm being induced next Monday if its still high. Now is the first time I tested myself so I dunno what's high and what isn't.

If I am not mistaken, when you're pregnant your blood pressure is suppose to be lower then 120/80. Anything over 140/90 is pre-e range. When I was in L&D on Sunday night, they wouldn't let me go home unless it was lower then 140/90, and the OB told me if it says up, they'd induce me.

To the ones who said walk.. I chased the kids around my grandpas for 4 hours up and down the hills exc.

That's high...mine was like that on a Tuesday and I was induced on that Thursday. Maybe call your dr they might want to induce earlier.
