congratulations! he was a big boy! very adorable though   how are you other kids adjusting to the new baby? i have two kids already and as much as they love their sister now, i hope they will still love her after she's born, specifically my 2 1/2 year old. when i had him, my oldest wouldn't come near me or his brother for a couple days. i'm hoping that doesn't happen again!

I'm still kind of scared to bring a new baby into the world, but I'm on the same page as you with all of the pain. I seriously can hardly get around now.

so dd is 17 days old and is getting surgery tomorrow because she has a blockage in her belly. she was throwing up everything so we took her to the er went home and they called us to bring her back. she is now sleeping. i am pretty upset but i am sure i will be crying uncontrollably tomorrow during surgery

So I saw my OB today for another cervical check. Still no progress on dilation and she wasn't able to strip my membranes, although she tried very hard. I did lose my plug when she checked me though. I'm frustrated about the lack of progress, but I feel so much better because she was suddenly totally on the same page as me. We are giving it more time and we will induce at 41 weeks if I get that far. I'm still hopeful that things will change and progress quickly and naturally, but I am at peace with this plan and that feels good!

lost my mucus plug this baby can't be to far away right !?  

Had an OB appt today! Checked my cervix, and I am 1cm dilated, -2 station, very soft but still long, and she's head down!! After talking with her, I have till my appt on the 19th to go into labor and have her, or they'll be scheduling a c-section. They don't want to induce me nor let me go over due, because of complications, and I can completely understand. I am going to have a very happy boyfriend till this baby comes, because I plan on LOTS of sex, lots of walking and nipple stimulation!!!

Is she head down? Looks like her head is at an angle rather than straight down, lol it looks so uncomfortable! Yay about the little progress, and hopefully it works out for you to go into labor naturally! I am hoping and praying the same thing, I want to avoid induction and my doctor is one that will push it at a certain point. I have a growth ultrasound Thursday (not sure if I've mentioned that already) hopefully they don't think she is getting "too big" even though they can be off by a couple of lbs. This one just doesn't want to get low enough to start anything yet, but I swear some days she is really low and I have all kinds of pain and pressure lol. As soon as OB checks me though, she is bobbing around in there still.

My cousin's son had this same problem. He threw everything up and was losing weight and ill, after they fixed the problem through surgery he ate a LOT and was a very big boy lol. Good luck hun, I'm sure everything will be fine...you and baby are in my prayers!

My oldest daughter just turned 5 on September 8th and has been in love with her brother since we told her we were having another baby! She loves her little sister so much so we figured it would be an easy transition for her since she's older and has been there before with welcoming a new sibling, and we were right. Our younger daughter will be 2 on October 26th and she would kiss my belly and say "Baby" when talking to my belly but I don't think she really had any idea what that meant. Sissy was doing it so she did too, kind of thing. She is a momma's girl since I stay home with the kids and during the school year its just us 2 during the day. The last 2 weeks or so that I was pregnant she became so clingy and would just follow me and say "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy" constantly like she new change was coming. She has totally surprised us though and loves her little brother. She is so gentle with him and has only been jealous a few times while I was breastfeeding him. Otherwise both girls have done awesome with their new brother!
