I am not sure how to explain this, but my vagina hurts. It almost feels like I have a knife going in the left side of my vagina, but goes along my vagina. Kind of like it missed my vagina and hit a little to the left. What is this kid doing to my lady junk?!?!

I am so frustrated!! I went to the OB today (39 weeks 1 day) and my cervix is still long, closed, and posterior. She asked if I wanted a c-section. I really really don't. They are concerned because he is estimated to be big (they estimate 8 lbs 14 oz) and I had really bad fourth degree tearing with my last delivery. I'm just shocked and disappointed that they are already pushing the issue when I haven't even hit my due date! I am so frustrated that my body isn't doing what it is supposed to. I get that since I've made NO progress they assume I'm not going to progress soon, but they can't be sure, can they? The baby is fine, good heartrate, good fluid, past the NST and BPP easily. My weight gain is good and my BP is fine. I don't see why they can't give me some more time. I'm feeling pressured and so frustrated! She is having me come back in Thursday for another check, but really I'd need a miracle to progress in 2 days. I've already been trying to do more walking, bouncing on my birth ball and DH and I have been DTD. I'm ramping all that up, what else can I do? I hate spicy food and I am not comfortable doing castor oil. I've heard raspberry leaf tea can help? Anyone tried that? Can I buy it at a grocery store? Any other suggestions? I'm desperate!

You have my prayers! I hope you don't have to have a c-section either! I don't think you should consider one til your due date and no progress has been made! I kept telling the doc that I did not want one with this delivery and even though the labor was very difficult and I needed a blood transfusion I would deliver that baby feet first again any day over a c-section! Good luck hon!

BP is high baby heart dipping into low 120's

It's my due date!
Went to the midwife and had mu membranes swept. I'm between 3&4 and she said the sac has already separated most of the way so there wasn't much to sweep. I've had a huge amount of bloody show but that is it.(Seriously, tmi but almost enough for a period.) I went for a walk afterward and plan on going to the grocery store in a little bit to walk some more when my girls get home from school.

Are you still getting accelerations? I know Ethan's bpm hovers around 120 when he is resting.

they released me but it stayed around 117 - 120

Weee, congrats   good luck with everything, i bet your excited.

Contractions are coming about every 4 minutes and are about 40 seconds long. Going to wait and see if they continue and get closer together. I'm planning on staying home for most of early labor if I can time it right. So I'm thinking until they are about 3 minutes apart or my water breaks.

Plan on heading up to L&D at around 10 mst because hubby is getting antsy. Contractions are about 4ish minutes apart but still about 50 seconds long and relatively mild. I know that will all change when my water breaks.
