Hair Dying

Is it safe to dye your hair after so many weeks or is it strictly forbidden while being pregnant? Any advice or knowledge of thisi would appreciate.

It's ok as long as you are in a well ventilated area, so the fumes can't get to you.
I still dye my hair.

It's fine, just wait until your second trimester. And make sure you're in a very well-ventilated area.

im a hair dyer and Ive always been told that you shouldnt , but here is what Ive come to find out . It is more of a shouldnt not a cant, the color may not come out the way you expect it to because of all the changes your body is going through. The other thing and most important thing is that if your going to dye do it in a very well ventilated area its more of the fumes that are damaging then anything else.

I see a specialist, and asked them the same question. They asked me if I was drinking the dye? LOL! If not (who knows why i would do that)as longas it was a well ventalated area, and after my second trimester I was good.

I dyed my hair on feb 29, in my second trimester ppl told me it was ok as long as it was a vented area. BUT now that i'm pregnant, my hair grew ALOT!! my hair doesnt normally grow worth a dang, so...if you have dark hair going for a lighter color you might be upset wth how quick it grows out and you need to get it done again...

It's okay after your first trimester in a well ventilated area.
