Grace Is Here!!

My beautiful baby girl is finally here!
After 41 long weeks and a 20 hour labor she is here!!
So heres my labor story...
I woke up needing to go toilet at 12:28am on 9th april.
To my suprise I saw my mucous plug had just came out, I was so excited...
I got out the toilet at 12:31am and the contractionns started, they were between 5-8 mins apart up until, 12:00pm where they got longer apart! (8-10mins).
I thought they were just going to come to a complete stop. I was wrong.
They were continuous all through out the day.
Then they started to get closer together again, between 3-4mins, around 2 and continued doing so til4.
Then I called the hospital, they told me to wait as long as I could before comming in.
I had an app with my midwife at 5:20pm so I thought I'd go to that and see whats going on...
I was 4cm dilated! Still getting contractions at 3 mins apart, i called the hospital and told them I was comming in.
I got there at about 6:30pm, were they gav me a room and did some test things.
They didn't think my contractions were bad, then I got a show at about 7:50pm, they checked me and I was dilated to a 9, (with no drugs yet!)
They then gave me the Gas (works wonders!)
After 5 hard pushes Grace Jayde was here by 8:08pm on the 9th April.
She weighed 7pound 14 half and was 49.5cm long.

Its just a gas they give you to make you feel a little better & feel less pain. I dont know much more about it except that my mum got it with me & my sister lol.

But what is it? Is like laughing gas?
