Ok i'm on the phone with my mum to find out exactly what it is haha! My mum said its like laughing gas. Its just gas & oxygen. She says it didnt do a dang bit of difference for her but its supposed to just calm you down to help you cope better with the pain. She said you only get it in small doses

ah...thanks so much. I had a natural birth...I didn't even have an iv. But I had never heard of gas being used. I wonder if there are any potential side effects or drawbacks.

I dont think so, its given in such small doses. But who knows!

Congrats! What a cute baby.

I've had gas for dental work and it worked wonders for that. It made me feel high, lol.

All the gas done was make me high then they gave me pethadeine and I was off with the fairys lol.
