Quoting weenie's mom:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Mama*AtoZ:</b>" I rarely ate after i had my son. I had a massive ... [snip!] ... the bottle the easy way. I try and try to breastfeed before offering the bottle but it never works. So I'm stuck pumping..."
Try a nipple shield for the time being if worse comes to worse but there are other methods to help as well. Oh and try pumping until you get your let down and then latch him.
My son didn't latch unti he was 3 months old... sometimes its something they have to learn and can take time. Also, try contacting your local Le Leche league and/or a LC. They should both be able to help with that.
I almost forgot but you can try getting a breastflow bottle in the mean time or start syringe feeding/cup feeding so he will stop being used to the bottle. I had to do all of this with my son and it took a lot of work but once they latch, it gets SO easy!
Syringe feeding:
^ This is what the hospital had my son do and they are one of the few hospitals in the country that are labeled as "baby friendly" and are trained in encouraging breastfeeding. I highly recommend this.
