Update on godson and pic!

Little Samuel is doing great!! He gained 8 oz in two days. He's eating fine. He is going through some drug withdrawals (prescription meds). But they say he shouldnt need any interventions.
Just got word they are doing the carseat test today!! I almost cried. Im not kidding. I can not wait for him to come home and this ordeal to be over. Birth mother has already signed over her rights and here in 8 months or so the adoption will be finalized. Thanks for all the prayers ladies!!

Awww..I dont know the back story but he is adorable! So glad he is doing ok!

Thanks. He was born 1 day shy of 37 weeks but they think he was only 35 weeks. He had some breathing difficulty and then they thought he had a problem with his intestines. (Maybe NEC) So they flew him to St.Louis. There, the doctors said they couldnt find anything wrong with his intestines!

So now he just has to grow and I guess pass the car seat test. He is my Bff's new little brother and is adopted.

Awww where was he at in STL? He looks amazing!   Glad to hear he is doing so well!

I just went and read all your updates! So glad everything worked out  

He is in Cardinal Glennon. I thought he was at Childrens but I found out today I was wrong lol

I love CG!!   They are awesome there. Children's is equally as awesome though.   Cylus went to Children's when he got bit by a pitbull, but his ENT and orthopedic doc is at CG.  

Bff's other brother went to CG for his cystic fibrosis. So they already knew all the staff.

Really southern. Small town called Benton. Its near Mt. Vernon and Marion if you know of them lol. We are 45 minutes from the Kentucky border.

lol That is awesome!   We drive an hour just for our pedi because she is affiliated with CG and childrens.  

I know a lot about childrens also. A friends daughter goes there for her chiari. I have a good pedi nearby or i would definately drive extra!

yea we drive closer to STL to go to the pedi but without her we would have never found out that Cylus needed surgery to correct his obstructive sleep apnea.
