night terrors???

what age can night terrors begin? my 5 month old will be asleep and wake up screaming and then go back to sleep this happens multiple times a night few nights a week...does this sound like night terrors???

i dont think its gas... i dealt with that when he was first born hed scream from 10 pm to 5 am. this is ust a lttle whiney cry and back to sleep he goes

sounds like just regular dreaming..

how long does it last?

night terrors, they scream and scream and seem like they are awake and it last 30 minutes of not being able to wake them up to over an hour..

the first couple times it happens you think something is seriously wrong with your baby, and right when you are almost in the car driving to the ER, they wake up and are back to normal.

I noticed that happened with my LO whenever she had episodes of periodic breathing.

Doesn't sound like any of the bouts of night terrors I've witnessed/dealt with.
