Help Needed ASAP!!!

Well I had a c section 2 weeks ago and last week it got infected i was put back in the hospital for 3 days for IV fluids and antibiotics and then sent home last friday with antibiotics to take. Well i took my last pill this morning and it was still swollen and well it popped and started draining again right now. I called the Postpartum to see what i had to do and of course noone helped. So i dunno what to do should i just wait till Monday and go to my doc again? Im so frustrated ever since i had this stupid c section ive been in and out of hospital!Has anyone else had there infected more than once?? Advice please

I had a friend who had a prob like this, her stitches came out and she had to pack it, or rahter a nurse came to her house every day and packed it. Its a really big deal! you reallllllly need to go to the emergancy room asap and get it checked out

at least its draining now should be more comfy and it should get better now

Ugg i hate the hospital and i hve to take my 2 week old this sucks. I think the ER would b the smartest thing to do though.

Yes, go to the ER promptly. The infection can get FAR worse. A friend of mine (who is also on here) had an infection in her incision and it took FOREVER to actually close up. You need to go ASAP.

yeah go to the ER you cant risk anything. Im sure you probably already went by now.. I hope everything went well.

My incision is ok, but there are a lot of girls having the same problems as you...it might help??

with my first i started to get an infection.. i saw my doc.. she said to take the antibiotics she prescribed and keep it dry.. sher suggestion was to put a maxi pad against the area to suck up the moisture.. surprisingly it helped 

I havent went yet but im going this morning i was exahausted i just spent 2 days at the hospital for something else and needed sleep im a nervous wreck without sleep. Hopefully its not as bad as last week where i was hospitalized again. I filled about Four or five gauzes up i squeeze some out myself i heard theyll do it at the hospital and well they can be mean and it could really hurt. Its not draining as much i stilll hve same gauze as last night. Ill let yall know what happens thanks ladies.

Well i went and i spent a couple hours there but she sent me home and told me to see my ob/gyn on Monday. God i hope it doesnt get infected she said it was good that its draining!! Hmm i dont know i thought draining meant infection well see what happens Monday.

Does your Doc office have a message phone that you can call that someone will call you back on? Mine does/ did and it was really helpfull and if I needed to go to the hospital they would call ahead etc etc.

mine drained what I had to do was pour peroxide in it and pack it.

hydrogen peroxide is longer recommended to be used in or on wounds as it also kills the good tissue as well as the infected tissue.
