ty...I'm sorry too   I regret it everyday but it's getting better too...looking back I can see why my mother so strongly wanted me to go thru with it...I've learned to find at least a little peace with the decision now that I'm older, I truly believe my baby would have been a girl (just one of those "feelings") and if nothing else I can take a little solace in the fact that because I didn't bring her into the world I was able to keep her safe from her p.o.s. father...it's not much, but it helps me sleep at night knowing that I at least saved her from having to deal with everything I have already gone thru...she is and always will be my first baby, and she'll always be an angel baby to me...and no one can ever tell me otherwise...

I know this was posted two days ago but I wouldn't do it because when people see it (didn't read where you are gonna get it) they would ask how your baby died, why your baby died, etc, just because that is always the first thing people assume when they see that kind of memorial to a deceased one.

most people regret their abortions and afterwards you just want your baby back. i got a tattoo for my abortion. wings on my wrist

I don't think strangers would come up to someone and say "Why do you have those angel wings? Who died? How did they die?" LOL. Kwim?

No. People ask me about my tats all the time. My SILs friend got a memorial one except hers is on her lower arm and they ask why she got it and, according to SIL, some people do have the balls to ask how her LO died.

A friend of mine got a similar tattoo.. for a quote she used "Once in my body, always in my heart" but she chose to have it in a different language so she wasn't constantly having to explain her sad situation.

I think this is beautiful. I say get it. It's your loss, don't let other people tell you how you can or cannot mourn it.
