Level 2 sonogram??

Hey has anyone had a level 2 sonogram? Whats the difference from a level 1?

It's just more detailed.. same procedure though

i thought the level 2 is what they usually do at your appointments

yeah i had one done last month! its just more detailed. its stil 2 dimentional but they can check all the vessels in the baby's stomach & they check all the heart chambers etc. Its just a little bit more detailed. I got one done for medical reasons & they measured his growth & stuff as well.

no, a level 2 is different from just a regular ultrasound.

I think she is thinking of 2D ultrasounds (normal ones) as opposed to 3D ones

thankss i'm having one done because it showed that he had a dilated kidney on the level one.. hopefully everything goes good with this one

yeah this one should be able to tell you if all is well! Thankfully all was well with my little guy & thats actually the day we found out he was a boy lol
