How to stretch out shoes?

So I bought a pair of heels for my bday party tonight, and the toe area is way to tight. How can I stretch them out? It's patent leather if that makes a difference, and here is the shoe:

Id say go buy a shoe leather stretcher but since you're wearing them tonight Id say break them in and wear them around the house, with socks on.
