Castor oil can make your baby have a bowel movement in utero which they can breath in. Then they might get a lung infection which could kill the baby.

Its not going to do anything but make you have more contractions that don't help you progress, and make you smurf a lot.

What is so funny about it? Seriously it can do more harm than good. If your body isn't ready nothing will work. I was in labor with hard contractions for almost 3 weeks with Cylus..when I went in to be induced for Pre-e Cylus was born by c-section due to his cord being short and almost killing him from being wrapped around his neck so much. He should be dead but never in a MILLION YEARS did I ever think to try castor oil because he would have came at some point.

You should be more concerned about the harm it can cause your baby, rather than being on the smurffer all day.  

Please, wait it out... pregnancy can be painful and annoying, but it's part of life and you need to deal with it. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns about your pregnancy.

All it did for me is make me extremely sick that was the worst thing to do to myself. I was 1 week over due with my daughter and my schedule induction got moved so I was wanting to try what ever I could to have hr. The when my daughter was born had a tiny bit of poop on her bum. When I seen that I was like crap that was caused by the castor oil. I'm lucky she didn't inhale it as she could of gotten pretty sick then that would of been on my conscience. I will never recommend anyone to use it and I will never do it again. So please just wait for your baby to come on their own. Not worth the risk.

I am thinking about it but i really dont know yet,Also i was in the hospital for having contractions and the nurse give me shots to stop contracting lol. i was 32 weeks when that happened now if i go to the hospital they will give me shots to stop contracting which i dont want, i just want to have her here with me! with my first i had to be induced which was bad because my son came all stressed out!
