my sonb was born at 32 weeks, he didn't have any complications at birth that they know of, and they gave him teh steriod shot.. my son is a special case but i know ALOT of girls i was in NICU with that their baBIES were born at 32 weeks and didn't have any trouble, just tiny.. i'll pray for you

My sister in law had her baby via c-section at 32 weeks due to placenta previa and she was perfecly healthy, she went home with mama 3 days after the c-section. She spent no time in the NICU, and was less than 5lbs at birth. I'm not sure if she had the steroid shot or not, I don't think she had the chance.

Well, after the appointment today the dotor said that we are past the point where they would administer any steroid shots. Really, after 34 weeks they won't do it??? Aren't the baby's lungs not actually fully developed until 38 weeks?

Elias Phoenix is here, born April 25th 5 weeks early via c-section, Was in NICU for 4 days and is home now   No oxygen

Congrats. How much did she weigh. Glad to hear that everything went ok. And she is home after only 4 days.

He was 4 lbs 11 lz, gained 3 oz, then lost 6 oz before he left the hospital. Darn and we almost had him up to 5 lbs too

That is good. Soon you will never know that he was a preemie, I can tell mine is and he is 8 months old now.
